History of North Thailand
The first true Thai kingdoms (Chiang Saen, Lanna Thai, Sukhothai, Nan, Chiang Mai) rose up in Northern Thailand. Sukhothai Historical Park & Si Satchanalai Chaliang Historical Park are World Heritage sites. But there are 100s of ancient majestic temple sites.
